July 6 Sacred Trust Lecture on Sherman and Kennesaw

On July 6, 2014, I had the privilege to speak at the Sacred Trust Lectures at Gettysburg National Military Park. My topic was William Tecumseh Sherman and his leadership during the Atlanta Campaign. I took a biographical view of Sherman, covering key events in his life leading up to the campaign and how they shaped him into the leader who ultimately failed at Kennesaw Mountain in June and then took Atlanta several weeks later.
